The Royal Asscher® Diamond Company has collaborated with Give Jewels, the luxury jewelry retailer and eBay seller with charitable intent to create a stunning jewelry collection in celebration of the Academy Awards®. The star of this ten-piece collection is a 75-carat, one-of-a-kind necklace created entirely of Royal Asscher Cut diamonds and black onyx. Designed by Lita Asscher, fifth generation and President of The Royal Asscher Diamond Company of America, the necklace is art-deco inspired with 97 diamonds, including 6 large diamonds stunningly framed in dramatic black onyx. This is an historic charity auction – the necklace alone is valued at an estimated $1.8 million.

The collection’s nine additional phenomenal pieces include a dazzling 10-carat cushion cut pendant, 7-carat natural yellow diamond necklace, uber-glam diamond drop earrings and some brand new never before seen designs. All diamonds were previewed in the eBay Style Suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

10 percent of proceeds from the necklace sale will benefit two Give Jewels partner charities: World Vision, a non-profit organization helping to transform the lives of the world’s poorest children and families in nearly 100 countries, including the United States; and The Aspen Center for Integral Health, a center for emerging ideas in integral, preventive medicine, and for the promotion of health for life.

10 percent of the proceeds from the remaining nine collection pieces will be donated through eBay Giving Works to Give Jewels partner the Acumen Fund, a non-profit venture fund that uses entrepreneurial approaches to solve the problems of global poverty.
