Auction Link Plus, LLC is a privately owned and operated auction consignment enterprise dedicated to working with individuals and businesses to turn inventory into cash at the same time providing buyers with accurately described merchandise at the best possible prices.

Biography:

Leonard Sands, Managing Partner and founder of Auction Link Plus has been an ebay member since 2001 and is a Platinum Power Seller.

Len started in business in 1968, selling motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles part time out of his basement in Western New York while working full time as an engineer for Bethlehem Steel.  In 1972, the part time business grew to the point where Len decided to make a major commitment to the industry. He and his wife, their 2 young sons along with their dog and cat moved to Southern New Jersey to go full time into the motorcycle business. They started as a single line Kawasaki dealership in 1972. The business prospered and grew to the point where in 2007, Len had 2 large locations and selling the complete line of Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Polaris products. Now after 39 years in the powersports industry, Len sold his business and retired (well…sort of retired).

Since 2001, eBay became part of Len’s dealership operations. He sold parts and accessories as well as new and used motorcycles, ATVs, Waverunners/Jetskis, Sport boats, cars/trucks as well as just about anything he could find. Ebay became part of his life and his addiction.  His customers knew what he did on eBay and brought him anything and everything for him to sell. His eBay business continued to grow. Because of his excellent personal customer service, ebay buyers came back over and over to make additional purchases as well as referring family and friends. Sellers continued to bring in product to be sold because of Len’s commitment to deliver exactly what represented. When an auction/sale was completed everyone was happy. It doesn’t get any better then that!

In addition to the domestic US market, Len soon found he had customers buying his products from all over the world. Iceland, Australia, Italy, United Kingdom, Canada, Romania, Israel, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Africa are just some of the places Len has shipped to. Some would be purchasing just one unit while others bought full container loads. International relationships and friendships with buyers just continued to grow. Shipping product internationally presents many potential challenges. With the growth, Len developed a chain of logistics specialists who could move product in any quantity to just about any country in the world. The most important part of the international business is based on trust. Because of Len’s integrity, the trust was earned resulting in repeat business. Len’s customers all want to deal with him because they knew that when they paid for product they will get what they paid for (which is a very important aspect of ebay and not always the case). These relationships are just one reason Len has decided to start Auction Link Plus and not just “retire”.  The other reasons are Len’s addiction to ebay and the fact that to Len, age is just a number and a state of mind!

NOTE: Because of certain restrictions in the buy/sell of his business, Len will not sell motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercraft or related accessories in southern New Jersey (from Trenton to Toms River and south).
