Last week when I was getting my nails done, I overheard a woman say, "If I only had one more month with my mom" It really got me thinking and I asked my mom if she'd like to come for a visit. She has never been to PA. I had no idea it would be so hard and so expensive to book a flight for someone who is 70 and on oxygen 24/7. Anyway, she is finally set up and ready to come and it will be a new adventure for both of us. I want to take her to Atlantic City, and to New York City to see the statue of liberty. I am concerned about how to get her around since she has a walker. I wonder if there are any scooters to rent once you get to NYC or AC. Hmmm... well, like I always say... Life's an adventure... Live it! I hope my ebay sales will help me with the cost of this trip, It was sooo expensive. But worth every penny since I'll get to hold her hand, rub her back and let her know how much I do love her. Won't you please take a second look at my auctions... Isn't there something you need?

Its been a horrible time since I wrote that about me section. While my mom was here, I had a heart attack and hemorraghic stroke and ended up in a re-hab hospial for 6 months. I am just now starting to get back into life. But it is difficult, I lost the use of my left side, so everything is done one handed. But, I'm still here.... and my mom?? She is back in Colorado living her life with some very good memories of what we did while she was here.
