Why I do this . . . Several reasons actually. I am truly passionate about the entire process. I love seeking items to sell. I grew up going to auctions with my dad. Auctions were as much a form of socializing with your neighbors, as they were about the great deals in our rural community! My dad was a great collector - pencils, bottles, Hershey advertising pieces, antique furniture, vintage Ford tractor parts, you name it - from the practical to the occasional oddity. I also love the selling process - from writing the listing, to the anticipation of what will be a hit, and right down to the great emails I receive from the recipient of my treasure.

The other huge reason I do this is so that I can maintain a flexible schedule in order to be a full-time mom! The family picture offers those two really special reasons - my sons, Jamie and Bradley. I'm excited that they are taking an interest in my business. My youngest is on a first name basis with the clerks at the post office and has even worked at some auctions. My oldest son is my Chief Warehouse Manager, which consists mainly of loading and unloading the car and organizing the packing/shipping areas.
