Hi! My Mom and I started to sell on eBay when we moved in together in 2001. Her name was Patricia and I have kept the eBay ID in her honor. As two grown women combining households, we had a lot of downsizing to do. My mother collected early American antiques and I had inherited much of her mother's estate.
Patricia was a Home Economics teacher and I love to knit and sew. We had multiple duplicates of so many things, for example, 7 ironing boards between us (2 regular, one antique - used as a plant stand, two sleeve boards and one mini traveling board, and one specialty board for velvet) that garage and yard sales just weren't enough!
After my mother, Patricia passed away, I moved to a one bedroom apartment -- more downsizing!
After decades as an amateur calligrapher, I recently began collecting and restoring vintage fountain pens -- just what I need, another expensive time consuming hobby!
I now live with two cats: Magic and Pyewacket, who can be seen on my website (http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/x_ice -- be sure to include the underscore between the x and the ice) along with some film reviews and a few items of fabric and yarn that I have for sale and haven't gotten around to listing on eBay yet.
