My interest in sewing started when I watched my mother make my clothes as a young girl. I was fascinated to see a pile of fabric and string become something I could wear! She helped me make my first blouse in the second grade and 30 years later I'm still at it.
Sisters and inlaws have provided me with eight beautiful nieces & nephews: Cammie(10), Katie(5), Colby(5), Hunter(4), Max(3), Will(2), Emma(1), MaryGrace (1). I even have a step-grandson, Andrew, who is 4! Having no children of my own gives me perspective on just how special a child is and what a blessing they truly are. I firmly believe in the saying:
"100 years from now it will not matter how much money you had, what kind of job you worked or what kind of car you drove, but that you made a difference in the life of a child"
A college education trained me as an accountant, but my attention to detail and perfection seemed wasted on numbers, so when I was laid off I decided to "do what I love" - and the rest is history!
"The customer comes first" is just common sense to me. Custom orders, special requests, nothing is trivial. You are the customer and you should get what you want! If you have any questions at all, please just ask.
