Years ago, I collected and sold antiques and decorative items. Eventually life took over and I stopped the day-to-day dealing, but continued collecting ... and stockpiling. Well, my situation has significantly changed now, so I'm selling everything I don't need. I hope you folks love the things I've collected as much as I've enjoyed owning them. I think it's so nice to be surrounded by special things. If you're interested in the gory details, read on. If not, I don't blame you. It's not so different than a million others'.
I'm a newly single mom with a hunka burnin' love 12-year-old son. The non-employed alcoholic husband finally got gone, but not before we lost our home to the vultures. We now live above the garage of a wonderful friend who took us in without a question or concern, and I will never be able to repay her kindness and generosity.
Now we live out in the country and have lots of animals - 3 horses, 5 dogs, and 8 cats, all neutered. My son loves it here and we are both quite happy, thank God. We're heavy into animals out here. We board dogs, and this summer we rescued over 75 animals from a single site, some of which we kept, but the rest were all adopted out with the help of a local rescue organization.
Since our move, my personal goals have really changed. Now my focus is on my son, his welfare and happiness, and working to help our benefactor better her situation, which is uncannily similar to mine ... only she got to keep the house.
This isn't a "poor me" thing, it's just About Me.
