About Me
Hello, my name is Azalea and I'm a stay-at-home mom to a 3 year old boy and a baby girl. After I had my first baby I had a really hard time with him because I could never put him down without him crying (believe me, I tried just about everything). I made myself an over-the-shoulder sling for the first three months. As he got heavier I needed to find something different and discovered mei tais. I made myself a prototype and found it really makes a difference in the way the baby's weight is distributed. I keep at least one mei tai in the car for emergencies. When my son was smaller I carried him in a mei tai quite a bit and I received lots of compliments because he looked so content.
I have enjoyed making mei tais for the past three years. I have sold them to parents nearly in all states in the USA as well as Canada, Finland, Germany, England, Scotland, France, Spain, Sweden, Portugal and probably others that I'm forgetting. I have been told that my simple design makes it very easy to use compared to others.
