Many of my items for sale on ebay have to do with my personal and professional interests.
I sell just about anything as I have been a lifelong collector of various items, but my greatest inventory is in records, books, artwork (includes entertainment memorabilia), cameras and coins. I also deal in collectible autos and motorcycles and their parts and accessories. From time to time I may have real estate to auction. I have been licensed in the past to sell real estate in the state of California.
I am only beginning to stock my store. It will take some time. The Records are being input as quickly as possible. I am hoping to get in about 500 to start. If you have requests please email me. The Coins are from all over the world but mostly US. Cameras will be input slowly as I am not an expert on the cameras which I inherited and have to research them a bit before listing. I also do not have a history for the cameras. Books are entered regularly as I sort them. Please email with questions and I will do my best to answer questions about all items. I do have a return policy. To save everyone a headache, please use it if dissatisfied. I cannot take responsiblity for the post offices' handling or buyers' choice in shipping. Please check my store often as I am putting stock on the shelves everyday!
A Note about shipping records: They are fragile; although I do offer the very lowest cost shipping methods I do NOT recommend shipping them this way, especially overseas, as the longer the item stays in transit, the more likely it will be damaged upon arrival. I cannot guarantee it arriving undamaged, therefore I highly recommend insuring it if it is important to you. I also will combine shipping to save costs.
Please do not bid if you have 0 feedback and/or are new with no record on eBay, your bid will be cancelled.
Because the record grading standard progression of quality (mostly from Gold Mine) are not sufficient in dimension for real life wear, I have added a few in-between grading factors to help a buyer make a decision on whether the record is acceptable to their standards in quality or for what is important to them (some people want really good covers, others don't care much about the cover if the vinyl plays well etc.) Covers and vinyl that go together can be dramatically different in quality based on use and storage etc.. Older records generally look worse than they perform and newer records perform worse than they look. GENERALLY. My record grading is as follows:
"MINT" CONDITION-Sealed only! New. Covers cannot be in this condition unless unopened. "NEAR MINT"CONDITION- IS "MINT" BUT NOT SEALED. For COVERS this means that they are very close to release condition with minor imperfections, sealed or not. "VG++++" has POSSIBLY a very few faint marks. For COVERS this means some minor wear is beginning to show, but that the cover is nice enough to frame. "VG +++"- May have a few light surface lines or marks that make no noise. For COVERS wear is clearly evident, but not worn out. "VG ++" - May have light surface lines, scratches or stains that may or may not sound. For COVERS this rating means they are beginning to lose their integrity, but still useable. "VG +" - One or some surface scratches that may sound. For COVERS this means some small damage and definate wear, but still useable. The wear is probably visible in the photo. "VG" - LIGHT TO AUDIBLE SURFACE SCRATCHES that DO sound. For COVERS this means it is getting fairly worn out from use or storage and the images are not clear. I try to not sell covers at this stage. "G" - I USUALLY DO NOT SELL IN "G" CONDITION (UNLESS VERY"RARE" and no other condition is likely or possible.) If there is major skipping I also do not sell. One or two OK (Sometimes skipping can be caused by particles in the grooves from long non-use that stops after several plays and not because of vinyl damage). For COVERS this "G" rating is almost irrelevant as a grade because it means it is basically worn out.
Please recognize that vinyl plays differently on various types and ages of turntables (depends upon needle quality etc.) and I cannot guarantee performance on other turntables. I have more than three turntables of various ages I try to play all vinyl on (at least a few songs). My grading is based on the over-all performance on at least 3.
My coin grading is by the Whitman Official Redbook. Prices are based on the grading AND metals market indicies. You can check the metals current prices here:
