I KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT DUNGEONS & DRAGONS!!! Ok, well, maybe not everything, but I have been playing with and buying TSR's products since the late 70's. At one time or another I've owned every single commercial D&D product sold by TSR, as well as most if not all items from the Middle Earth, Rolemaster, Judge's Guild, and Runequest lines....I also collect obscure gaming items, and have branched out into sci fi (Battletech, Star Wars, Star Trek, Shadowrun), Horror (Call of Cthulhu, one of my favorites!) and superheroes (Villains and Vigilantes)! Please feel free to ask me any RPG questions that will help your enjoyment and knowledge of the game of D&D and other RPGS, even if you are not purchasing anything from me. As of late 2008, I have become the exclusive distributor for the vintage game product Tabletop Warriors. The entire story of this extremely rare vintage gaming item is below. I have regular and signed copies of this item available on Ebay, as well as signed and numbered versions available at auction during various times of the year. Virtually unreleased upon original publication, these old style gaming booklets were self-published, printed up in limited qualities back in 1984 by Lane Renfro, an OD&D gamer and DM. The booklets contain a setting and scenarios based on Lane’s OD&D campaign of the late 70’s (’76-’79). Within the pages of “Tabletop Warriors: City and Adventures” lay the basis of a beginning generic FRP campaign for levels 1-4 in the land of R’Lane. Included are two pull out maps of the land of R’Lane and the city of Claybank Greystone; descriptions of the city and inhabitants, with background of the city’s history and politics; eight old school dungeon adventures; and “Lore of the Land”, which includes new classes, random tables, rules variations, and other items of interest. The 100+ page booklet is very reminiscent of the original D&D or Arduin Grimoire supplements. A collector will find the information very old school in presentation and tone, and the dungeons can easily be converted to any BFRP system. A high point is the excellent artwork of a then-unknown Darla Hallmark; Darla is now a well-known fantasy and fetish artist and created some striking images for this self-published gaming supplement. It is probably one of the most professionally illustrated small print publications of the era! The original print run of this supplement was 500 copies; only 50 or so were ever actually distributed. Today less than 200 copies exist, the rest being lost or destroyed through the last 25 years. The remaining copies are going to be available exclusively through Badmike3Books, through an arrangement with the original creator and author Lane Renfro. The copies available at auction are signed by the author AND artist, as well as being in mint to near mint condition and unused! Only a limited amount of the signed and numbered ones will be made available, along with a Authentication note. Very few "undiscovered" items such as this exist from the "golden age" of FRP gaming, circa the late 70s-early 80s. Although crude, cheaply self-published, and rife with errors and old school gamisms (yes, there is a dungeon with a room that has a dragon that cannot have possibly gotten down the 10ft wide corridors to it's location!!!), it is a great example of an original D&D type campaign from back in the day. Description: Tabletop Warriors: Fantasy City and Adventures (U2 Adventures, 1984)---Near Mint, no discernible wear, never used. 104 pages, contains City of Claybank Greystone and Land of R'lane (two pull out maps, still attached); and eight dungeon adventures: The Hold of Anagrach; The Pits of Lavakind; Quest for the Demon Chain; Morgane's Dungeon; The Temple of the Great Furred Kayo; The Hall of the Stump; The Temple of the Welterkind; The Cave Lair of Otto.
