I have been dabbling with things needle since as long as I can remember. I love all the arts of needlecraft, including applique, crochet, embroidery, patchwork, quilting, rug making, and sewing. I combine my passion for design and my love for fibre arts in BallerinaGrape Clothing. I currently live in Iowa (USA) with my husband, one cat, and one puppy. I am inspired by their love and the beautiful world in which we live.

My goal is to create unique pieces of wearable artwork in a responsible way. I have been sewing for quite a few years and take pride in every garment I make. All of my pieces are designed with care and thoroughly planned. I make every pattern myself. I strive to use quality fabrics, and love to incorporate vintage, reclaimed, and sustainable fibres into my designs. I prewash and shrink my fabrics prior to cutting them up, so you can launder your garments with no worries. I steam press my seams for even patches and clean lines. I use a serger in addition to my regular sewing machine, so you can be sure that everything you get from me will be of good quality. My items are never mass produced, but made with love one at a time.
