| Who is Bargain Gowns? I became interested in the bridal gown market while shopping for my
own wedding gown. I, like many other brides, found that planning a wedding would be a huge
financial undertaking. Wanting a new designer gown without the designer price tag, I set
out to find different alternatives to locate that special gown. I found eBay to be a
perfect venue for locating a new designer wedding gown at a discounted price. I also found
that I really enjoyed the entire eBay experience, prompting me to bring the same great
experience to other brides.
Realizing the limitations of traditional bridal shops, I
strive to provide you with the highest quality gowns at the best possible price. Although
we can not replace the personal service of a bridal shop, we do offer an excellent
alternative for the price conscious bride that does not mind sacrificing the service of a
traditional bridal shop for a deeply discounted designer gown. We strive to provide you
with great products and service. I love what I do and believe in providing quality
products that enhance your wedding experience without dominating your budget.

customers have said about the wedding gowns they purchased from us!!!

How often do you get new inventory?
We receive new shipments frequently so our inventory is
always changing. If we do not have what you are looking for please check back with us
periodically, or please feel free to email us a description of the gown you are looking
for and the name of designer you are interested in. We would be happy to let you know if
we have any in stock or if we receive one that meets your criteria.

What
types of gowns do you sell?
We offer both BRAND NEW and SAMPLE
gowns!

What is the condition of your gowns?
BRAND NEW GOWNS have NEVER
BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR TRIED ON! These gowns are in PERFECT
condition! All of our new gowns are from an exclusive, couture, bridal boutique and
as such many of these gowns are UNIQUE, ONE-OF-A-KIND, EXCLUSIVE
designs. Therefore, we usually do not have the gown in any other color or size and may not
be able to order another one like it. If you see your dream gown and absolutely can't live
without it, please don't wait to bid, as this is may be your only opportunity to buy this
amazing gown at such a low price, WAY BELOW OUR COST. Since these gowns
may have been removed from the designer's packaging for photography, there may be some
very minor fabric imperfections, loose beads, or very light dust, but nothing that would
effect the overall beauty of these gowns. These gowns DO NOT NEED TO BE DRY
CLEANED! Gowns will need to be pressed after shipping.
SAMPLE GOWNS are NEW in
that they have NEVER BEEN WORN TO A WEDDING. They are used for
brides to try on and may be tried on once or several times depending on the traffic. This
is why we are able to offer them to you at these low costs. None of them have ever been
altered or worn to a wedding. The gowns are all in NEAR PERFECT condition.
There may be small flaws, spots, stains, beads or buttons may need to be put on, small
repairs may be needed, or they may have dust or dirt around the hemline. These small
imperfections are minor and common in most floor samples and do not effect the overall
beauty of the gowns. We inspect every gown to make sure it is in NEAR PERFECT
condition as well as go to great lengths to describe the condition. If the gown is
described as being in excellent condition, it means besides fitting room wear, there are
no noticeable flaws. If we see any noticeable flaws with the gown, besides the fitting
room wear described above, they are disclosed along with the condition in the auction.
Gowns may need cleaning. Ultimately, the decision is yours. Gowns will need to be
pressed after shipping.

How do I
get my gown pressed and how much will it cost?
Bridal gown pressing is usually performed by your dry
cleaner or seamstress a few days before your wedding. We recommend calling vendors in your
local area for pricing.

What are the benefits of
buying a gown online?
There are many BENEFITS to buying your
gown online!
- HUGE SAVINGS realized over buying your gown
at a traditional bridal shop
- NO WAITING for 3-4 months for your gown to
be ordered because we sell the inventory right off our racks
- CONVENIENCE of shopping from the comfort of
your home

Can you get this gown in
another size or color?
We may have the gown in another size or color! Usually we
only have one of each gown and can't order it in any other size or color. Please
email us if you have a question about a specific gown or you are looking for a specific
style. We would be happy to check our inventory for you!

Can
this gown be altered?
Most wedding gowns need some type of alterations for a
proper fit. Generally wedding gowns can usually be altered up or down 2 sizes. A gown can
usually be taken down 2 sizes without difficulty, however, we include the seam allowance
for each gown in each of our auctions that describes the seam allowance for taking the
gown out to a larger size. We also include the approximate measurements of each gown.
Please use the measurements and seam allowance to compare to your own measurements to
determine if the gown can be taken out to your required size. We also advise having a
professional seamstress alter your gown.

How
do I take my measurements?
Please keep in mind that bridal gowns run small. We always
recommend using your measurements rather than your size. We also advise having a
professional seamstress take your measurements and do your alterations. Using a tape
measure, have someone else measure the following:
- Bust - Measure the fullest part of your breasts and around
your back going under your arms
- Waist - Measure the smallest part of your waist just above
your belly button
- Hips - Measure the widest part of your hips on the hip bone
- Natural Waist to Hemline - Measure from your natural waist
to where the hemline should be. Remember to take into account the height of your heels and
if you will be wearing a crinoline.

Can I get combined

I do offer combined shipping/handling on multiple purchases

after auction closing based on your shipping address and the number of items purchased.
Please contact us after the close of your auction if you would like combined shipping.

What does the shipping cost include?
The shipping cost stated in our auctions covers shipping by
UPS GROUND (if shipped within the Continental US) or USPS AIRMAIL
(if shipped internationally). The cost also includes insurance, shipping supplies and
the cost for the labor required for someone to pack and ship it to you. Please keep
in mind the shipping cost found on your package may not be the same as the amount you paid
as it only reflects the charges from the carrier. Shipping costs for international
packages do not include any duties or taxes the buyer may have to pay to customs when
receiving the item. This is the responsibility of the buyer.

Do
I need a crinoline?
Most of our gowns are photographed with a crinoline to give
the gowns a full look. Our auctions are for the gowns only. You may want to purchase
a crinoline if you desire a fuller look to your gown. Check
out our eBay store for crinolines!

Do you sell
bridal accessories such as crinolines, veils, gloves or tiaras?
Currently we carry bridal gowns, crinolines, headpieces,
tiaras, veils and bridal garment bags. We hope to be adding more bridal accessories
in the future.
