Bark Avenue vermont was created by me. I am very involved in Pug rescue and other toy breeds and I started sewing coats and belly bands, sometimes beds for my foster babies. I always felt that they should have something special and new for their new life ahead. Pugs get cold in the winter and being from Vermont so do I! So I want them to stay warm in a unique, fun and practical way. Pugs have such comical little faces and are so condusive to dressing up. The pugs I have fostered and continue to foster make me smile on a daily basis. Each bark Avenue Coat I sell goes back into more materials for coats I donate, for my fosters or other pugs in foster care that need them. I also make Belly Bands free of charge for any foster pug boy that may need a little help in the housebreaking department. Bark Avenue Vermont is a labor of love. Each coat I make is unique. Its on a whim and I keep it fun. Also I have really expanded to what I call "Moppet" dogs. You know if you have one! Furry little long haired mop dogs. I have a 3 legged havanese and a little mopdog mix breed and what fun it is to dress up their hair in cute little bowz for boyz & girlz. Have fun perusing my new items. As always I don't do special runs of anything in particular. I design and make things that appeal to me and are fun for you! Thanks for supporting me and the pugs I love so much! Robyn Steward |
