A representation of what I may have in stock Bobby Ann Packwood I have been appraising, buying, selling and studying Native American art and antiques for over 20 years. I have co-curated museum exhibits on how Navajo textiles came to and were influenced by the Northeast - "Forgotten Connections". The best part of my "job" is appraising collections - I learn from the owner, the items and when they are to be donated to a museum - I learn from the museum's staff. My stores - virtual and actual I carry current and antique items from many Native American tribes. Since I live in Maine, the majority of items are Maine made. I buy current baskets and other crafts from the artists/craftspeople - usually traveling to their homes. While I love antiques and history - I feel much better about selling new work as my customer and I are helping to support current artists carry on the traditions of their ancestors.
