Since 1967 I have been selling store fixtures and displays. For the first 18 years I was employed by a regional distributor and traveled New Mexico, Southern Colorado, Southern California and parts of Arizona and Utah. At times I traveled to other states to work with owners of retail businesses who were considering remodeling their stores. This was a great way to see some of the country but I was on company time so I did not take the time to be a tourist except for two trips to the Grand Canyon. Even then I called on the trading posts on the way and on the stores at the Canyon. My company did remodel a gift shop at the Canyon which gave me a reason to go to there.

I attended many trade shows in Las Vegas, Phoenix and other cities and have met many fine people from around the world and some well known celebrities at the Las Vegas trade shows.

Some of my duties in addition to sales was the design of retail stores and the pricing of the new and remodeled designs for the retailer. Fortunately the company had installation personnel so I did not have to assemble and install fixtures.

In 1985 I left the company because of a "fortunate" accident and started my own business. I did try to work for a previous associate but his idea of customer service was far different than mine so I went off on my own. Today I have probably the most complete portfolio of fixtures, displays, supplies and packaging in the industry. I have over 300,000 different items and since I drop ship, I can keep the cost very low since I do not have freight into a warehouse. Most of my items are shipped within a day or two of the order direct from the manufacturer or importer. With the number of items I have, I can not post everything.
