Grandpa and Tara

    Kia ora my name is Alvina and my store is named in memory of my dearly loved and departed father Gordon.

    A few years ago my 2 daughters started swimming on a team at the local high school. At first it was just to get some much need exercise but soon they began going to swim meets and fell in love with the sport. They absolutely loved it and they did well yes they were great! Swimming grabbed hold of the entire family and I wanted to start a business to help other families like us have access to affordable swim products. (How many times have you had to buy caps and goggles that your child or you have lost). What ever water sport you love thats what you will find in my store.

    Our family consisted of myself (Mom), and Dad,Grandpa (Gordon),and two elementary aged girls. The whole family would travel to out of town swim meets and cheer on the girls. Dad some time missed a few because of work but Grandpa never ever missed one practice or meet dispite is ailing heath. Grandpa was suffering from pulmonary fibrosis a serious lung disease and had to walk with his cane and oxygen. People would ask, "Does your Dad mind coming out every day with you.?". My reply to that was, No not at all he looks forward to it every day". Watching the girls swim and knowing that everyday he had somewhere to go was the best medicine for my father.
