My name is Dana, and I have been selling my original art in various mediums over the last several years now. I have been making lampwork glass beads since October 2006, and I am loving it! In fact, I am totally addicted. All beads are annealed, and packed securely. You will see a large variety of types and styles of beads listed by me. I have a wide range of interests, and always like to try new things. you might also begin to see my husbands metal art sculpture here, too. And an occasional collaboration from the 2 of us. I also love to paint with acrylics and watercolor, make things with clay (ceramic and polymer), other glass things, sew, knit, etc. etc.!! I will be listing beads on a regular basis, so please save me on your list of favorite sellers and check back often. SRA means "Self Representing Artist". Self Representing Artist has been a category in Ebay for a long time, in the Art section. Although the hand made lampwork beads are not in this section, I feel it is important to clarify that my beads are in fact made by a SRA, me! Some bead makers have an image of their SRA # in their listing, which is a different thing. They got together as a group so they could "officially register" as a SRA, in opposition to cheap mass produced imports being marketed as USA / artisan made. I am not a part of this group (just don't think it's necessary), but still am quite officially an SRA (it's just an acronym, not a trade mark). OOAK means "One of a Kind". My beads are hand made, by me, one at a time. Even beads that I make to appear similar, will likely have subtle differences, and will always be made one at a time - by my own hands. Thank you! March 13, 2007 - I am going to post some notes up in this space occasionally. Something new for today is, I mixed up a bunch of un annealed beads with a bunch that were already annealed. Better safe than sorry, I just had them all annealed again. I will be picking them up tomorrow. |
