Prong rings made out of wire are one of the most difficult and time consuming settings to master.  Every measurement has to be exact in order for the gemstone to properly seat and stay secure in the setting. 

All prong set rings (wire & cast) should be periodically checked to make sure that none of the prongs have come loose.  Rings tend to take the hardest wear of all jewelry and it's not uncommon for a prong or an elevated stone to catch on something and loosen a prong.

We hand make our mens large gemstone rings (women can wear these as well) out of more strands of a heavier wire than most wire rings on the market. Over 7 grams of 14k gold filled & over 9 grams of sterling silver on average in each setting.  These are classy looking well built sturdy rings!

We also use additional wire to wrap the shanks of all our wire rings. This makes our wire rings more comfortable to wear and adds more durability. 

Don't buy another wire ring without the shank wrapping!

Wire rings that don't have the shanks wrapped will bend easier and the wires on the band will eventually start separating with normal wear.  This does not happen with our rings!

Prong setting rings are not included unless we have a similar stone in stock to custom make another ring in the size needed.  Size 4 to size 15 including quarter and half sizes are available.  Contact us if you need a size bigger than 15.
