As a stay-at-home mom, my kids will always be my first priority. As time permits, I do my favorite thing - shop! It is much more healthy to buy things for you, than for me.
Everything I buy, I love. I would wear it or put it on my children in a heartbeat. In fact, I have to downplay the little girl's things I buy as my 4 year old always thinks we should keep it for her! I regularly sell Armani, Dana Buchman, Ralph Lauren, Anne Klein, Jones New York, Liz Claiborne, Calvin Klein, Ellen Tracy, St. John and for kids B.T. Kids, Cach Cach and Biscotti. The merchandise turns over regularly.
Shopping for my daughter's clothes on Ebay was when I really started to make Ebay part of my routine. I love the better names. But here is where my second neurosis comes in. I NEVER PAY FULL PRICE/RETAIL FOR ANYTHING AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE A GREAT DEAL!
I believe my feedback speaks for itself. I have a very low mark up on the items I list because I want to keep them moving - so yes, I can buy more clothes! The other thing I am careful about is not overcharging for shipping so I can get an extra buck - I hate when sellers do that. All my items under 1 pound generally ship for $4.30 (U.S. shipments) with shipping optional at $0.60. I do charge a $2-$3 premium for Canadian shipping because I cannot do it from home. I must burn the gas and take the kids to the post office. My insurance is so low because I use a private shipping insurance which is much more reasonable than the postal service. Again, I never like to pay full price!.
I have many repeat customers and appreciate them all. No deal is ever final. The satisfaction of my customers is truly more important than a $25 pair of pants. Again, my feedback will confirm it.
P.S. I had one negative feedback back in 1999 (as a buyer) which a seller gave to me after I left him negative feedback for taking 3 weeks to send me something. Seller is no longer a user due to high negative feedback statistics. Fooey!
The "neutral" feedback I just got - buyer used "Buy it Now", then paid almost 3 weeks later. Item sent out immediately in Priority mail "tyvek" reinforced envelope folded in white tissue as all my packages are. Wrinkling in shipping happens. Even if it was in a box there would have been wrinkles. I don't want to charge $7 for shipping. This was in response to the feedback, I left for her two days earlier (also "neutral"). I can't control the integrity of others, can I?
As my feedback shows, I ship quick! From the time the payment is made, U.S. buyers should have their item in 4 mailing days or less. That is the way it should be.
I generally have new listings on Sunday nights. Please take a peek. There are a variety of sizes and prices for everyone!
