About
Victory's Gallery
Victory's Gallery is named after my cute & temperamental Australian Silky Terrier named Victory. He's a sweetheart most of the time, but don't try to disturb him when he's chewing first favorite treats... He might just mistake your hand as his treat and chew on you. Victory is a great guard dog (typical of his breed), keeping his little teddy friends from harm. Victory's Gallery represents little creations made by me (POEY Yin Theng) and needle felted bears by my mom (CHEONG Peng Chun).
About Me (Poey Yin Theng) Teddy bears are great friends! I love seeing my design slowly become a creation with every little stitch... It's like going into a whimsical land where only good exists. I use upholstery fabric, mohair and synthetic fur in my little creatures. I prefer to work with mohair and synthetic as it nice and furry to touch, just like Victory! I also love beading and incorporated beading in some of my bears.

About Cheong Peng Chun Needle Felting is a dry process of sculpturing little bears and friends. My mom got hooked as she could make a little bear without making many tiny little stitches. She uses needles to poke a mass of wool fibers into shape. It's a great way to release creativity and stress. My mom also love Peranakan Beading. It's a local culture traditional art of sewing patterns in beads to decorate clothes, shoes and other accessories. My mom hand sews many beads onto her bears to give them a unique look.
