The first time I realized I was different was when I was four years old.  I somehow knew there was a grease fire in our kitchen, in Texas, and I alerted my family to this.  It was after this , after the hushed conversations about me , I knew I was "different."   I knew little about my ability at that time.  By the time I was eleven I  completely understood what God had blessed me with.  I had been gifted with a  "sixth sense."  Now I have a list of clients ranging from the average housewife, to layman, celebrity clients, some of Houston's rich and famous, the well-heeled, students, doctors, lawyers, it's a wide range. I have a list of clients as long as your arm clamoring for my readings.  I can describe events and scenes which I have never seen before. You could say, I am a clairvoyant who channels messages from beyond the grave to comfort grieving relatives. I do not help the police anymore, it is too time - consuming , and it is so hard on me to channel negative souls. It drains my energy.  I just simply do not have that much time for myself..  My heart is in helping the police, so now when I get the opportunity, I teach others how to.  The voices from "the other side" have been in my head since childhood and though they were scary enough to stop me from sleeping, I thought everyone shared the same experience.  The truth hit me when I was eleven.  I was able to know and see things that I wasn't supposed to..  I was told at that time by a Priest that I was gifted,  and that God had imparted a very special gift upon me.  Something happened at that point, it was like a light-bulb going off in my head.  I  "knew" my power.... " I am just a telephone switchboard through which people can speak to their dead relatives."  That's what I am.  My first adventure out as a professional psychic was in 1988, building a semi-large Houston client base. This was my first set of bookings... " I knew there would be critics,  but I would be prepared to be a complete success or a complete failure.  The reaction was incredible with reviewers praising me and my " astonishing gift" and amazing accuracy."   So many people are looking for reassurance and comfort these days and I can reach them.... I have many emotional moments.  I particularly remember one experience.  There was a mother whom had lost her son, and the little boy came through to talk to his mother.  "He wanted to thank his mom for tucking his teddy bear in bed for him at night and that she remembered their favorite spot, and time together.... It turned out that every night,  the mother would go into the seemingly empty room and read to him at night and tuck his favorite Teddy bear under the covers for him.  "This is an instance I will remember because it was so lovely."  I believe this all began with my psychic grandmother whom always would teach me the Bible when she was in a good mood.  She had a gift of intuitiveness that I have never witnessed again, she was extremely psychic and blessed with a sense of "knowing."  In those days she was pretty much oblivious to her talent, but remembers hating to go to bed because the spirits "talked" to her then.  She grew up believing the experience was commonplace, worrying about how she knew things friends hadn't told her.

I expect people to be skeptical but I find people are looking for the comfort and reassurance I can bring.  I have a strong faith in God, and such a strong faith in God to forgive anyone.  " The Holy Spirit makes sure like the town marshall, that the people whom most need the messages get them.  "I am unique in that , my works of old were very very good and that this life is a chosen life,"  not having to work out karma in this life",  my life is chosen to Glorify God and show that love can come in any form and this is the force we need to be emulating, as God is love.  My goal is to help as many others as I can....  " I believe we all have this ability in us, "  It's just that I dedicate my life to helping others.     Peace be with you and God Bless you ,  Barbara .
