The picture is of me and my eight(8) siblings and our parents, I'm in front to the right of my brother. My name is Dinah; I've been a member of the eBay community since February of 2007.
My first experience with eBay was as a buyer. In December of 2006 I received a set of silverware from my parents for Christmas, I didn't care for the style and asked my mom if she would mind if I exchanged them. I looked and couldn't find a set I liked and decided to return them for cash. I saw a 112 piece set of Reed & Barton silverware, on QVC, I was tempted to purchase them several times. One day I found the identical set of silverware on eBay. I placed a bid and boy those last few seconds of the auction were very nerve racking. My winning bid was $65.00 + $15.00 S/H, QVC wanted over $110. One eBay purchase and I was hooked!
I quickly began checking eBay before making any purchases to see if I could get a better deal. I had heard good feedback about Bare Escentuals and was searching for a convenient less expensive way to purchase the product. I purchased my first Bare Escentuals Kit through eBay in 2007. I wasn’t expecting much, but the first time I applied the makeup I realized this was the best cosmetic product I had ever used. Every time I applied this product I got the same flawless results. I soon realized I would never go back to the old cosmetics I had used in the past. I cleaned out my makeup drawer and gave it all to a friend. She was happy to get it but I felt awful. I knew I was giving her a bag full of expensive “junk.”
I continued buying on eBay. I liked shopping and especially for a good deal. I guess I got that from you mom; it definitely wasn’t from you dad. When I received my first credit card bill I realized my eBay compulsion would soon make my credit card bill explode. I decided I’d try my hand at selling on eBay rather than buying. The first items I sold were a couple of LED flashing signs. I listed them for 10 days and they sold by the end of the third day. I was so excited I called anyone who would listen to me. Since I was a true believer in the Bare Escentuals products I decided to attempt to sell this product on eBay; I am currently considering selling a couple other non-cosmetic products to expand my business. ***P.S. I am still an avid eBay browser and buyer!
I strive to provide excellent customer service by replying to emails and shipping orders promptly when the payment has cleared. I work closely with my customers to correct any problems that may arise. I treat my customers the way I want to be treated. I do not ship until I have received cleared payment.
