is the eBay name of the craziest seller you will ever meet on eBay.
Known as Beavis to many his actual name is Tim and he and his eBay Team
work from Montpelier Vermont. Tim was not always so crazy. He was one
of the first shooting star feedback holders (10,000 feedback) back in
2002. Rewarded by eBay they shipped him to the first two eBay Live events
in 2002 & 2003. In 2004 eBay asked him to lobby congress for United
States of eBay Program. In 2004 he was then asked him to join the Voices
Program to which he was a part of a valuable "Think Tank"
type group for eBay Managers for almost 2 years.
Tim went crazy around 2005 when Beavis was created. As he studied the
weird sellers on eBay while researching for a book he was writing he
became consumed by their lifestyle. "It reminds me of the earlier
days of eBay when the community was close" says Beavis. Everyone
gathers in certain online spots to Create, Celebrate and Network. For
those of you who don't know what eBay Weird is just think back to those
funny stories you hear on the radio. The Grilled Cheese Virgin Mary
or maybe the wedding dress guy, this is the side of eBay that has a
very large creative auctioning culture. Beavis has become very well
known after selling some odd and strange items over the years. GoldenPalace
even purchased the rights to advertise on him as well as 7 other weird
category sellers at eBay Live in Vegas 2006 for $13,000. GoldenPalace
also branded them as eBay Celebrities.
So now Beavis works on making a living on eBay as well as running two
other businesses and raising a family. He gives input to reporters,
authors and financial advisors about selling on eBay as well as other
eBay culture issues. He even has a couple of his own creative works
about to hit the streets soon.
