LAY-A-WAY

For items priced over $1,000 I am offering to my customers a 3 month no interest lay-a-way plan to make the buying process a bit easier. A longer lay-a-way plan is available but interest and storage fees may apply. You can certainly pay off earlier at anytime if you want your item early.

Please let me know before you bid to make sure that the lay-a-way option is available for that particular item. As soon as we agree on the terms you are welcome to bid on the item using the Buy It Now option. As soon as you bid the listing will be closed to make this item unavailable for other buyers and item will be packed to be ready for shipment.

Lay-a-way option cannot be combined with any other promotional offers such as free shipping, discounts, free polishing, etc.

First payment shall be received no later than one week after listing is closed and you will receive a confirmation e-mail stating that your payment has been received on a certain date. The date of receiving the first payment will be the due date for the other scheduled monthly payments. Payments shall be made in a timely manner. It will be the entire responsibility of the customer to deliver the payment on or before the due date. I shall not be responsible for lost or delayed mail or any other problems. Lay-a-way plan allows customers to plan ahead with a budget and any delays in payments are unacceptable. No notes or warning of any kind shall be accepted as excuses of a late or no payment. Payment received after the due date shall terminate the no interest option and 6 ½ % interest on the entire unpaid amount will begin to accrue immediately as well as a reasonable storage fee. No requests for payment or any other warning will be issued, no grace period will be given. If payment is not received in three days after the due date the entire agreement shall be deemed terminated, null and void, without notice, and customer shall lose all rights to the purchased item and all previous payments will be lost by the customer and item can be resold at my option. If the credit transaction is declined by the bank it will not only terminate the entire agreement but will be subject to a charge of additional $25 for the declined credit cards. Item will be released and shipped only after the final payment clears on my account.

 I tried to make this policy especially harsh and resolute to prevent any possible problems.

OUR RETURN POLICY

After receiving the package you will have three days to decide if you want to keep the merchandise. If you do not like our product for ANY REASON just simply ship it back in the same condition as you receive it and completely insured. We will return the amount of your payment MINUS shipping charges, as soon as the item is received. We will not issue a refund if item is returned damaged, altered or parts are missing. If item was damaged during shipment please contact us immediately and depending on your preferences we will help you with the insurance claim or issue a refund.

Please note that not every one of my listings has a return option and if it is important to you call to discuss the terms before you bid.

We we are not on the computer 24/7 and might delay or overlook your e-mail and prefer if you just call us 408-757-1602 Mon-Fri 10-5 if you have any questions or concerns.

Please understand that all people have different quality standards and that we are selling not brand new, but used items, therefore we encourage you to call for a complete condition report if you are really interested in our inventory and have any doubts. We provide plenty of high definition pictures and point out the imperfections. However, because we sell used items and it is just impossible in a short description to mention every tiny nick on a hundred year old piece of furniture just call us for a complete condition report and we can talk. We will not provide you a full refund if you were buying based on your assumptions but are always happy to share our knowledge with serious buyers.

Payment:

All auction and discounted items must be paid for within 3 days from receiving our invoice. We accept layaway only when items are sold for the full price. If you feel that you are unable to pay in 3 days please call before you bid to discuss the payment arrangements. Please do not bid if you are just playing games, it is not nice. We accept all major credit cards on the phone. Please note that with some credit cards it takes several days for payment to clear onto our account and the item will be shipped as soon as the payment clears.

Shipping:

We will be happy to assist the winning bidder but will be unable to answer estimate questions because we will shop for shipping options and it is time consuming, therefore you must make your own research. For furniture shipping we use Plycon Group and Craters and Freighters. However, small furniture items can be shipped via FedEx ground or even USPS. If FREE shipping was mentioned in the description we will ship or hand deliver our item at our own expense only with Buy It Now option.

Multiple purchases:

We welcome dealers, designers and quantity buyers and will make every effort to provide the best prices and shipping discounts on bulk purchases.

Non Paying bidders:

After eBay invented new policy, preventing seller from leaving negative feedback to the buyer, we have experienced an enormous amount of incomplete transaction, and as a result of our non-paying bidder reports to eBay have received undeserved neutral and negative feedbacks from upset non -paying bidders. If your payment is not be received within 3 days we will have to submit a non-paying bidder alert to get back our fees charged by eBay and will no longer be obligated to sell you our item. We will not try to collect money from you nor communicate any further, bagging for payment, but will block your account and re-list the item at our option. Please do not leave us negative feedback as your revenge - we will not be able to respond to it and it isn’t nice to make problems for people and to strike the unarmed.
