For those who do not know me, my name is Janet and I live in beautiful, rural Michigan.

I am perhaps best known in the eBay community for my original
“Old Thyme Pantry Cakes”.

After much trial and error, I have developed my own unique recipe for these primitive/folk art decorative, everlasting fragrant pieces I create, called “Pantry Cakes”.

Along with Beecharmer’s Cottage signature “Old Thyme Pantry Cakes”, I also use creamy local beeswax, blackened and richly scented to create primitive, folk art items…Grungy Pears with rusted square-head nail stems, primitive and slender Lantern Lights, Everlasting Flicker Candles, Cupboard Lights, Ornaments, Samplers, Holiday Wares and more…

I enjoy all things primitive, and the chippier the paint, the more worn the patina…the better! I suppose it naturally follows that I admire the varied talents of other artisans~from doll making to woodworking, painting to the paper arts.
In addition to crafting, I really enjoy gardening…especially growing many types of lavender, herbs and Old-Fashioned Roses.

Beecharmer’s Garden is summer is a site to behold, visitors tell me. I try to remind myself that this is true, especially when all this Beecharmer can see are the weeds!

I'd like to acknowledge the many wonderful people I have met through eBay…faithful repeat customers, kind sellers, helpful and friendly folks with good advice, wonderful “sisters” in the primitive communities and special people who entered my life as one of the former and are now true and cherished friends.
I am TRULY blessed.
