A 2003 inductee into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame, Dan Schafer has performed with Shania
Twain, George Jones, Barbara Mandrell, Lorrie Morgan in concert and on major television
shows such as 'the Late Show with David Letterman'(2 performances), 'Billboard, Blockbuster
and American Music Awards''VH-1'& 'Comedy Central's the 'Daily Show'. He's also had songs recorded by the Skyliners ('Since I don't have you' fame) and co-wrote with Greg Nelson, the song
'All Along the Way' by
Larnelle Harris
from his hit album 'First Love". This song was #1 on the 'inspirational' charts for 5 weeks straight, and stayed in the top 30 for 13 weeks!
He performed as part of the cast of 'Dick Clarks' American
Bandstand Classics' Show at Opryland USA in the Acuff Theatre in 1997. He also was very instrumental in the marketting of the Epiphone 'EZ Bender'and
has two instructional video's, DVDs and a Compact Disc teaching 'Bender style' guitar available
at this website & Ebay...Recorded 2 records for RCA Victor Records including the pop/disco version of "Baby, Now that I've found you!"..Played bass guitar with
