Hello, thank you for taking the time to visit! As you can tell by our feedback, we like to pay the same day if using Pay Pal, and the next banking day if using Cashier's Checks or Money Orders. We will continue to do so dependant on the weather, and our 6 year old son's health, and sometimes mood! Thank you to all the wonderful people out there, both sellers and buyers, that we have dealt with. Our eBay experience has been remarkable! We hope in your dealings with us, that your's will be too. 3bdf37dacda4e86e264f6a188232b2d6
About Janice Williford of Wistful Dreams Studio: I have basically taken over my husbands account, and will keep this account even to sell my customs. I started in the craft of customizing model horses in March of 2004. I love to take mostly broken model horses and re-sculpt them and then re-paint them into a new model. I use Apoxie Sculpt as my medium of choice, and any broken limbs have been pinned, or wired for added stability. I hand paint my custom horses in acrylics, and use pastels and pencils to add detail to the hooves. I protect my horses with several coats of clear (unless otherwise stated) matte acrylic finish, and use clear, shiny nail polish on the eyes, nostrils and hooves for realism and protection. I work very hard to provide a clean, accurate, well sculpted model, with a smooth finish paint job. While I am still new to the field, I feel my work is of high quality, and the starting prices will always be reasonable. I do this because I enjoy the work, and enjoy the satisfaction of a happy customer! I may not be quick to get them done (working around a husband and a 6 year old!), but I take my time to be sure I get them done well! Please feel free to check out my website (link below) to view my work. I do have a fun page with photos of the Live show's I have attended, which includes my NAN winning customs as well as NAN winning horses I have purchased from other artists! I hope you enjoy looking at my work! Feel free to email me with any questions!
Recently, I have become the member of an AMAZING group of men, women and children around the world. The International Blessed Broodmare Project formed when a group of Model Horse Hobbyists got together to save the lives of 20 PMU (Premarin) Foals that were bound for slaughter. These foals were the product of the Premarin Industry - Mares are kept pregnant for the collection of their urine, which is used to produce Hormone drugs for women to use to help control the effects of Menopause. This group of people were able to save all 20 foals by raising funds from sales of model related items. This Fall has been spent raising money to save over 80 PMU Broodmares who were heading towards a worse fate - a breeding farm for meat! The Premarin Industry is downsizing (and has been since 1993), and this is making 100's of Broodmares become obsolete. Many Ranches have gone out of business, and the mares and foals are heading to slaughter. This amazing group has managed to save ALL the mares from that horrible fate. Eventually, TIBBP will set up it's own eBay account, but for now, I am handling all the sales for the group through my eBay site. Once TIBBP has it's own official Website (we are hoping to take this to the next level - 501c3 Non Profit Status!!), I will post the website below. For now, you can read more about TIBBP through our Founder's website, Deb Buckler of Resins by Randy.
Thank you for visiting! Janice
