Hello, thank you for visiting Boot Hill Ranch. Boot Hill Ranch was a working cattle Ranch from the early 1940s up until the mid 1980s. Its original owners retired and I bought the Ranch house and some of the property. After having a life long love of all things Western, it was a natural location for my collections of vintage and modern western items to grow. The collection is vast and included about ten thousand items at the high point. From Cowboy boots that date to the 1870s and saddles from the 1890s to Diner Menus from the 1950s and Have Gun Will Travel board games, the collection has run the whole scale. Pottery from Oklahoma by Frankhoma, Creek and a couple of others are used daily. Art from Brad Braune, Delmas Howe and quite a few others hang on the walls. But, as all things go, the Tract houses are closing in and I will sell and move at some point. Since 2001, I have been selling off bits of my collections.
My collections run in various directions, Vintage Western being the main one. The other larger collection has been vintage and modern sneakers. I started this one while working for Corporate Retail. Shoes were cheap and interesting and I bought them and bought them and bought them. I have bought and traded sneaks for years and have of course, worn the same pair or two, leaving the others in their boxes. Both large collections are being liquidated to make room for other passions (Antique Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, etc).
It has been a pleasure selling off my collections as much of them are going to other collectors and other individuals who appreciate items for design, style and craftsmanship.
Happy Bidding to Everyone!
And Remember, it is up to US to be the stewards of our own history or no one will do it.
