A Delicious Cup of Tea

| My tea story all began with a burgundy Halls teapot. As a little girl I loved tea parties. It seemed to be magical when my mom would announce it was time for tea. There was always a hushed air of reverence when she removed the teapot from its safe haven in the china closet. I looked forward to the warm cozy feeling I would always experience when sharing tea with my family and friends. Many years later I was able to realize my dream of owning and operating a gift shop and tearoom named Civil-La-Tea. It was a delightful stop for a "spot of tea" in downtown Gettysburg for nine years. Hosting daily tea parties for my cherished guests was a wonderful experience and truly a labor of love. It was great to see how tea brings out the best in people. I have closed the tearoom and moved Civil-La-Tea to the internet changing the name to Your Tea Life. My goal is to provide an on-line community where you can find the finest tea and tea accessories and ideas to help you make your tea time special even if it is for a party of one. |

From inviting your favorite guests to the planning of the menu, choosing your theme and carrying it out with your chosen china and accessories to the wonderful connection to others that the sharing of tea provides.
