When you hold a beautiful piece of glass, touch a piece of porcelain, put a coin in a bank, hug a doll, admire a figurine, or bake a family meal in a dish that is no longer made, you hold a piece of history. You have the privilege of enjoying something time-tested and well-crafted. I believe that things from the past are treasures that should be enjoyed and preserved. That is the principle behind my sales.

   It is my goal to reach people who truely enjoy collecting. The people who value certian things from the past, whether toys, glass, china, etc. To that end I strive very hard to give my buyers the best bargain for their money and to make sure their purchases arrive in excellent condition to their satisfaction. To have an item destroyed through carelessness is a waste.

    When I began this, most items were from my personal collection and many still are and it is because of this that I strive to provide the best. I deal a mostly in china and glass, but I enjoy branching out into other items as well. It is because I collect that I try to disclose any flaws in a piece and I try to keep prices to a minimum.

   In addition I believe in fair and honest business. I do not pad shipping, and my handling charges cover my expenses. I wrap every item to arrive safely. I encourage you to read my feedback. I use Priority shipping because 1) the boxes are free and that savings is passed on to my buyers and 2) it is extremely reliable. In addition, I do not use reserves in my auctions. I am very candid in telling my buyers I cannot lower the price. I also strive to make myself available to buyers. I encourage questions. Simply put, you are purchasing an item and you have a right to ask any question you need to ask to feel confident in your purchase. I realize my descriptions are often long, but I try to include as much detial as possible.

     You will also note, I don't have a long list of rules, nor do I threaten negative feedback. Simply put, if you are not satisfied I refund your money, your shipping, and your shipping the item back to me. I strongly encourage insurance, but very rarely require it. If an item is insured and arrives with postal damage, I will send you the insurance proof and provide you any additional information you may need to file the claim. I leave feedback once I ship the item. I trust my buyers because they trust me. Finally, I always note when an item will not be relisted. I price my items lower than valued, unless the piece is something that is rare and only increases in value and I will explain this in the listing. It is my general rule to list an item twice. If it does not sale, I do not relist it. I very rarely lower my prices in the second listing. When I say I cannot relist or I cannot go lower on a price, I am being honest. Simply put, somethings I list are too precious and are worth holding onto rather than giving away. That is an honest statement and I can only hope that you respect it.
