We believe anything done to a gemstone other then cutting and polishing should be disclosed. Remember in most cases, gemstones are heat treated inside the earth or out. But there are exceptions of course, for instance, Garnet and Spinel will not accept any treatment. So as a rule always assume most gemstones have been heated unless tested. Remember as well all topaz other then precious and imperial has been treated in some way to achieve its color.

All gemstone photographs are taken using diffused natural light unless otherwise specified. We do not Photoshop or alter our photographs in any way.

Prices in most cases are based on what we paid for the gemstones. Consequently most of our gemstones prices are at wholesale or less. We get our comparative wholesale pricing information from "The Gem Guide", Gemworld International Inc. They are the leading source of wholesale gemstones pricing in the industry. Note that retail prices are generally two to three times wholesale.
