Hi! My name is Carroll Brickenkamp (which is a common Dutch name meaning camp in a birch grove -- hence the eBay moniker). I retired from the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 2001. I founded a small scientific consulting company and provide advice and training on improving processes as measured in time and cost. I have been eBaying for a couple of years now, but only recently begun to downsize our home and thus sell stuff. 		 
Specialities
We are almost finished selling my husband's 1950's vintage steel and diecast toys, but there are still a couple of special items that we will be listing. I am still going through all my grandmother-in-law's textiles and hand made designer clothing. There will be lots on eBay in the next few months. We will be listing vinyl LP's and 78's hardly played and very rare. My in-laws had some very interesting and sometimes rare books that they left to us, on subjects as varied as boating, science, music, cooking, literature, and just neat but off-beat stuff. We also have some very nice vintage audio electronics that we will no longer be using -- like ReVox recorders, Macintosh stuff, and Thorens and other turntables. We will also be listing a very large collection of vintage purses, both leather and handmade formal clasp styles, as well as linens, both monogrammed and not.
