From South Carolina Lowcountry
We discovered eBay twelve years ago -- it's been that long! Of course, as any antiquer/collector, we were instantly hooked. Remember, those were the days when you could browse ALL antique listings AND look at individual pictures in one night. Some listings didn't even have photos. Today, there are gadzillions of listings, but our enthusiasm is undiminished.

And who are we?
Antiques, especially offbeat and modestly priced treasures have fascinated us for decades. We enjoy discovering special items, and e-Bay auctioning. Many of our customers have become repeat buyers and delightful acquaintances. Our consistently positive customer feedback is a great source of pride to us and we encourage you to check it out.
We attend auctions and estate sales at every opportunity, and then some! Most of our buying is in the Charleston area, but we squeeze in buying forays now and then to Pennsylvania where we lived for 30 years. Some of those off-the-beaten-path treasure troves we found then are still there!

We take our e-bay sales seriously. Descriptions may be long-ish, but we want to give you the same information you would have if you saw this item in person -- as a customer, that's what you deserve. And we do our best to show you as many photos as seems appropriate for every angle of an item. If you look at our offerings and still have questions, feel free to email -- we generally respond within a few hours unless we are off at a show or at auction in which case we try to check e-mail once a day.

As a rule, we do not "glitz" our merchandise; that is, we don't tinker with items to make them look better than they are. In fact, we'd prefer that you be pleasantly surprised rather than the other way around. Just about everything we sell is antique or at the very least pre-1950. We may blow off the attic dust to check for damage or problems, but that's about it. Metalware is always left in original condition: After all, you can always polish, but you can't put the patina back on!

Most items are offered at $9.99 as a starting bid, and rarely do we use a reserve. This is no way reflects our opinion of an item's value -- but everyone loves a bargain, and we've negotiated plenty of them over the years.
