Hi and WELCOME to my "Me" page. I've always enjoyed art and history. When I was a little girl, I used to draw on everything I could and probably some things I shouldn't have. I was about 12 years old when my girlfriend's Mom taught me how to use a sewing machine and I've loved it ever since. I also enjoy painting and many times will combine the two. I've been making dolls for more than 20 years. I enjoy the detail that I can put into a doll and believe that next to its face, the detail is what really makes the doll.

Most of my dolls are one of a kind or limited editions. My favorite doll subjects are Patriotic Uncle Sam, Lady Liberty, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Santa’s. I also create for other holidays.

My husband and I share the love and enjoyment of antiquing and collecting. Whenever possible I love to incorporate my vintage finds into my dolls.

I live with my husband and youngest son in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C.
