History of Black Knight Trading Company
Our company developed from a part time hobby of selling and buying on eBay. Our history with eBay dates back to July of 2001, where we started to explore the vast marketing opportunities on the web. The business quickly grew and consumed our house and two car garage, and shortly thereafter two large storage facilities. We contribute much of our success on eBay to providing our customers with excellent communication, accurate product descriptions, and tremendous savings.
We now employ several people in our 9,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility that houses about 1,500 sq. ft. of office space dedicated to product intake, listing, and training. Our relationship with DHL our primary carrier for our shipping has allowed us to implement procedures and equipment that facilitates quick delivery of purchased merchandise.
What We Do
Black Knight Trading Company is located in Dunbar, West Virginia. Our primary business is to provide liquidation and asset recovery services to companies, government agencies, and individuals. We do this while insuring brand integrity, price points and in a manner having no adverse effect on current distribution, wholesale or retail partnerships.
Our business model offers two distinct services for liquidating inventory or asset recovery depending on the company’s financial requirements and asset recovery timeline. We also are registered Trading assistants on eBay and will take in items valued over $100 on a consignment basis for a reasonable commission fee. We can take care of every aspect of the eBay process for you, to include research of the item, writing a proper description, digital photography, listing your item and handling the financial aspects when your item sells.
BKT's Shipping Policy
Packages Under 125 pounds
We ship using UPS, FedEx, and DHL ground services unless otherwise specified or arranged. We have placed a shipping calculator on our auctions providing delivery charges to locations within the continental United States. The price it quotes includes a small packaging fee and the exact charges for delivery to your address for this item. We do insure your item for the amount of your winning bid and provide you with the tracking number.
Packages Over 125 pounds
We ship using Fed-ex Freight Services. If you are bidding on an auction that falls into this category, please contact us at sales@bktsales.com for a freight quote to your location. It is important to include in your email if you have a loading dock or means of unloading the merchandise or if you will need the services of a lift gate truck.
Why Do We Charge a Packaging Fee?
It is never our intention to profit from Shipping & Handling. We seek only to recover cost. We ship only in new boxes with new packaging materials and attempt to protect your items as well as possible. When you consider the cost of a new box, Styrofoam inserts, packing peanuts, tape combined with the labor to properly package your item, we think you will find any of our charges most reasonable. Warranty, Guarantee, and Return Policy
At Black Knight Trading Company we take TREMENDOUS pride in our customer satisfaction. Due to this dedication, our warranty and return policy is one of the best on eBay!
Black Knight Trading Company does guarantee the items to be as described within any of our auctions! We offer a full refund less shipping cost should you wish to return the merchandise offered within any auction, (unless stated within the auction as a where-is as-is item). To qualify for return, you must contact us within a 4 (four) day period from the date you receive the merchandise and the merchandise must be in unused or altered condition and must returned to us in our original packaging, within a 10 (ten) day period from the date of notification. Once we have received the item back we will promptly process your refund within 24 hours.
In the unlikely event we missed something within an items description, we will even pay the cost of shipping and return for the item. It is never our intention to sell something that is less than what is described within our auctions.
Questions and Answers
At Black Knight Trading Company we understand the importance of good communication. We do answer all emails and retrun any missed phone calls daily during our normal business hours. Please do not hesitate to contact us in the event you have any questions about the products we are offering. Our normal business hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST and Sat from 9am-12pm EST. Often we do monitor our auctions from home and will answer questions outside our business hours.
