Just two thrifty kids trying to get people psyched about recycling.
Recycling Clothes, that is.
When we make a find we think an ebayer will like, it is almost always going to be a previously worn piece. Why? Because rather than throwing away your old clothes and buying all new ones can be costly and wasteful. Making clothing uses precious resources-the material used to make the fabric, the energy used to make that fabric, the energy used to manufacture the garment, etc.
It all starts adding up.
So TKV is proposing a new way to shop.
Shop second hand! No energy is wasted to make the garment-It's already been made! And all the material you need is right there-sewn and ready to go! It's like an outfit with a virtually invisible Carbon Footprint.
