Moving on to Another Stage of Life


My Hubby Watching My Stuff at the Kennerdell Festival

For the past 21 years I've devoted my time to raising 3 girls. For 17 of those years I have homeschooled them.  I've developed quite a library over that time.  So much so that any close relatives have had enough of helping us move because of all those books.  We have moved 13 times during our marriage, the way the job market is.  Even though I've given trunk loads and truck loads away I still have shelves of books in every room of the house and a wall full in the garage. 

Now that homeschooling my children has come to it's close cleaning out the house and garage is my project now.  Getting ready for what ever God has in mind next.  Our next move will most likely only include my husband and me.  I'd like it to include

only one small truck instead of renting the biggest rig and still making 2 trips.  So help me out and tell anyone who would be interested in used homeschool books and el to check out The Glorified Garage Sale on EBay. 

I've sold and bought a books on Ebay over the past several years but nothing to this extent.  I've started reading all I can about having an Ebay store.  But it will take some time to implement all the tools offered.  So any tips are welcome and if you would like to make a proposal or wish I offered something in a certain way send me a message.

On a personal note I enjoy my down time crocheting and trying other craft projects. I may get some of those on here for Christmas. Of course the yearly scramble in May/June to produce a homeschool portfolio has introduced me to scrapbooking.  I hope to take that on soon, scrapbooking the birthday parties and such, all the pictures and memorabilia that didn't fit in the educational category. I've also spent some time this year co-coordinating an art and music festival.  You can check it out at www.kennerdellartsfestival.com.  Plans are getting underway for next years festival which will be the first saturday in August.  If your into art enter our t-shirt design contest by January 31, 2009.  The winner gets $100 bucks and it's really cool to see your design on a T'shirt.   I'm also looking to gain employment in the professional work force.  I have a degree in earth science and geography and about 2 years working experience as a cartographer.  If you know anyone hiring in the Youngstown OH/ Pittsburgh PA region E-mail me at www.oneword2007@yahoo.com.

My husband will most likely use this sight as well to sell train stuff he has had since he was a kid.  His interest has changed and is now ready to sell his HO train collection.  He also has a number of collectibles as well.  Mostly with the Pennsylvania rail lines. Maybe I'll get Jessica to put some of her art work on here.  She does take orders for custom made... she's done a number of pet portraits.
