Each day visually impaired men and women enjoy a warm, welcoming environment at The Blind Center of Nevada, and for many, the work opportunity and social activities have become a way of life. The Blind Center strives to create a positive social setting and support system outside the home for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
The Blind Center of Nevada offers programs and activities, both on and off-site, that encourage independence and improve the quality of life for individuals with visual limitations.
The major purpose of The Blind Center of Nevada is to meet the challenges of the blind and visually impaired and create new hope for all who have lost the gift of sight.
The Blind Center of Nevada is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting blind and visually impaired persons of all ages in reaching their highest physical, social, intellectual, and economic potential.

To achieve these objectives, we focus on three different areas:
- Personal Development - Assisted Living, Computer Training, Medical Care, Physical Fitness, and Emotional Support.
- Social Interaction - Arts and Crafts, Recreational Outings, Transportation Assistance, Lunches, and Entertainment.
- Meaningful Employment - Job Training, Career Development, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Placement.
BLIND CENTER OF NEVADA
The Blind Center of Nevada, part of the National Industries for the Blind, is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting blind and visually impaired persons of all ages in reaching their highest physical, social, intellectual and economic potential. The Blind Center offers a variety of products and services at fair market value.
Per the Nevada State Use Law and as amended in NRS 333.375, agencies may purchase products or services from organizations or agencies whose primary purpose is the training and employment of persons with a mental or physical disability, including, without limitation, a community-based training center. You may purchase these items without a contract or in addition to contracts already established for the same products.

ACCEPTABLE PAYMENTS

All items are to be considered used, end of lease or recycled items. Tested items will be listed as tested. All other items are sold “as is” which means they are UNTESTED. Tested items that are defective must be returned - no exceptions!
Final responsibility of determining what the item is falls to the bidder on the auction!
We will not be responsible for damages caused by untested known bad or misused products

NON-PAYING BIDDERS
ALL NON-PAYING BIDDERS WILL BE REPORTED TO EBAY ON THE 7TH DAY AND THE ITEMS WILL BE RELISTED. THE NON-PAYING BIDDER SHALL FORFIET ANY RIGHTS TO THE ITEM WHEN THEY ARE REPORTED. NO EXCEPTIONS
RETURN POLICY
We do offer refunds and warrantees on some items. If this is the case it will be noted in the auction description with the terms of the warranty.
In case of a refund: 1. Item must have a warranty offered in the description. 2. Buyer must obtain a RMA number from the EBAY department. This should be done by email in the 1st instance. If for some reason you do not receive this RMA number within 48 hours, please email ebay@blindcenter.org 3. The RMA number must be clearly legible on at least 3 sides of the returned package. (Items returned without RMA number on package will be returned to sender.) 4. Refunds are processed through our corporate office and will take approximately 5 working days to complete and send out. (Please keep the RMA number for your records as this is how your refund is tracked)
We will issue a return authorization (RMA) for defective products for 7 days following the date we shipped the item. Missing accessories stated as "included" in the auction or damaged items must be reported within 24-hours of receipt in order to process the claim with the appropriate shipper or to allow us the ability to quickly send out the missing accessory. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. To process a claim click the link below.
Items returned must include every accessory listed in the auction to be appropriately processed. If we receive a unit with physical damage or obvious misuse / abuse not noted in the auction or claimed within 24-hours of product receipt we will hold the product and await a reshipping fee. We shall refund your total purchase price only after the item is returned and inspected and deemed eligible for refund. Please do not break any barcode seal that may be on any product shipped as this will invalidate any warranty.

We auction 200 to 300 items week. Although we try our best, due to the high volume of auctions we are unable to respond to all questions on individual auction items. Please refer to our ‘about me’ page for all details.
