I sell my collection and use the money to buy more books. Very simple: it is not my livelihood so I don't have to badly describe listings to force sales - I can afford to be honest. Whilst Ebay does not take itself seriously any more by allowing wholesalers who don't actually stock the book they claim to have and simply take your money and arrange for someone else - say Amazon or Play.com - to ship it instead, I take my listings very seriously. Compare my feedback to all these super wholesale Powersellers and you'll see what I mean. Who are they? You know who I mean, look them up and you'll see - they are not hard to find...they are the ones with the rather ironic TOP SELLER motifs and tens of thousands of feedback....the ones with hundreds of negative and neutral feedback EACH WEEK as well by the way...but whom Ebay loves and thinks is the future of their business. I strive to provide good quality books, quickly and safely. My feedback shows this - I care about what I sell. I will ALWAYS help you if you e mail me. If you're an idiot and you can't be bothered to read my listings - see the prat who left me my one negative feedback - or you are like sp**kyjenkins who asks for surface mail, promises to wait the allotted 12 weeks, and then submits a fraudulent paypal claim for non receipt after 10 days, you will get a mouthful. I won by the way, so up yours Spooky, you tried it on with the wrong guy. But, I suspect, I am not alone in my stance - after all, who tolerates thieves and liars and scammers? Deal fair with me and you'll get it back tenfold. So, what is Ebay like nowadays? Well, first of all the people that built Ebay up - people like me and you - are no longer welcome. All they want is Japanese mobile phone bulk sellers who rip you off, and wholesalers who don't actually have the item in stock and just list from the net - buy from them and you'll often see the item is shipped from Amazon! So why not go to Amazon in the first place? Sellers like this gives Ebay a bad name. A buyer ripped off by them doesn't come back to Ebay. However Ebay doesn't care. No - like I said, they reward sellers like this with TOP SELLER motifs - despite them accruing hundreds of negative feedback each month; thousands each year. People like me, with glowing feedback and high volume sales and percentages...well, we can get stuffed. So, end of rant. Please visit my shop. You'll like what you see there. You might not like the price of some items, but I am a collector and my books are collectible - it as as simple as that. You are always free to buy the same book from one of the bulk wholesalers and take the gamble that a) they have it b) they send it c) it is as described.
