Why We're Better
We hope that you have some time to dedicate to reading this, because you won't believe the list of attributes that go into ensuring that your purchase expereince is the very best that you have had on eBay and elsewhere.
It all begins with the checkout. The checkout system allows you to specify a delivery address - home or gift address - and apply that to your purchase. Once it knows where the package is going, it knows what shipping options to provide you, whether you have to pay tax (Florida residents), and where to have the package shipped once the payment is received and processed. All customers must complete the checkout, and can then make payment via any payment platform accepted on eBay (currently PayPal).
Once you have completed your payment, you will get a payment confirmation Emailed to you. If you are paying with Paypal you will also get a paypal Email confirmation, but we highly encourage you to ignore that - because again, we are better. The payment confirmation you receive from us will have the ACTUAL address you specified for shipping, and the ACTUAL amount paid for shipping, insurance, and tax if applicable. At current paypal is unable to provide this level of detail, so their Email will always have your registered address, and anything that is not 'item cost' is grouped into 'shipping'.
Your order will download that night at midnight, and be processed on to a picklist printed directly at the warehouse. This ensures 100% order accuracy because there is no manual manipulation of data - it flows directly from the checkout to the warehouse. That is one reason it is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT to ensure that everything listed in your checkout and the order processing Emails is accurate.
From there your order will be professionally picked, packaged, and shipped on the following day. The staff at our dedicated shipping facility will carefully determine the appropriate packaging to meet any special needs for your parcel, and where possible, parcels are actually upgraded at no cost to you. While we do not tout this in our postings because it would be difficult to explain to non-qualifying customers without causing them to feel left out, the actual cost difference between a 1-2 pound Pacel Post package and a 1-2 pound Priority package is minimal. Since we are going through all this trouble to make sure this is your best transaction ever, we thought what the heck - we'll just ask the warehouse to upgrade any qualifying order.
What happens next is actually the most impressive part. Our system downloads the address you entered in checkout, compares it to the USPS database of deliverable addresses, and actually corrects and spelling, formatting, and other obvious errors. "Hwy" becomes "Hightway", "8 st s" becomes "8th Street South" - and actually based on your zip code if you had just put "8 st" it would know that it should be south and again, it would change to "8th Street South". That might seem a little silly at first, but the first time it saves you from getting a returned package you'll realize exactly how spectacular it really is! The other thing it will do is pull the full 9-digit zip code (did you even realize you have a 9-digiti zip code???). So "90210" becomes "90210-2386" or some such number. And you ask why that is important? Because that is the carrier route, and it actually enables the USPS to sort your package more quickly, shaving up to an entire day off the delivery time! And once we have gone through all that trouble to save that time, we figured we might as well go the whole 9-yards, and we barcode the whole thing. Again - what does that do? It makes it so that the USPS can actually automate the sorting of your package entirely, which again saves up to an entire day off the delivery process. Yes, wow again. While we ALWAYS recommend upgrading your shipping service if there is a critical timeline looming, for shipments without dire deadlines, it is great to know that many of our Parcel Post shipments are actually delivered before our competitions' Priority packages! |

All purchases will receive instant notification from to your eBay registered Email address, and a request for payment. These notifications can be blocked by anti-spam measures, so we encourage all customers to immediately go through the checkout using the link provided in the postings and websites. Shipping & Tax
Each eBay posting has specific shipping alternatives listed. Our shipping costs closely match those incurred for packaging, labor, and postage charges. All packages ship from our warehouse in Largo, Florida, via USPS. You should receive notification of package shipping within 1-2 business days of making your payment.
Please choose the alternative that best suits your need upon checkout. Once a shipping method has been entered it cannot be changed, so if you find that you require the item more quickly please consider purchasing another one and specifying the appropriate shipping.
Being located in Pinellas County we are obligated to charge the 6% state sales tax as well as "The Penny for Pinellas" 1% sales tax to state residents. Please note that this is a legal obligation, as this transaction will be deemed to have occured in Pinellas County. |
Combined Shipping Discounts
It is our pleasure to offer combined shipping discounts! We want you to come back and shop as often as you like, and this is our way of showing our appreciation for your business. When purchasing more than 1 item, shipping will be charged as full price for the item with the most expensive shipping charge, and additional item shipping charges will be discounted by 50%. This offer is extended to all customers, domestic and foreign, for all shipping services. On large international orders this means that we actually lose money on the shipping, but since that is the only way to ensure that all other purchases are treated fairly, we are quite comfortable with that. |
Terms of Sale
All sales are considered final. Block Buster Costumes may choose to accept back returns for exchange at its sole discretion, but is not obligated to do so under any circumstances. Yes and no. You can win another item for the same price if you like, or you can purchase immediately through our eBay stores.

Do you combine shipping for multiple auctions?

What are my shipping costs?
Shipping charges for all perchases are listed in the shipping sections of the posting or shopping carts. How long does shipping take?
Almost all of our orders ship within 2 business days of purchase. We do rely on the USPS for pick-up and processing and mistakes can happen, but if you have not received confirmation of your shipment within 3 business days please contact us here.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sorry - Sometimes there is just no way around it. We charge in-state residence the Florida sales tax, and the Penny for Pinellas tax.
