First of all I'd like to thank you for stopping by to find out all about me. I've been a seamstress for 30 years, sometimes professionally sometimes just dabbling as a hobby. I worked in a costume factory for 5 yrs and also in the bridal industry for 5 yrs, so I've got alot of experience under my belt.I've been a civil war reenactor for over 6 yrs now. Making victorian costumes and bridal fashions have always been a passion of mine, but until recently I had little extra time to devote to my own designing. I have several good research volumes on clothing of the civil war and study them endlessly before each and every design.

The last year was a very tough year for me. I lost 3 very special people to me, my mom, my ex-husband and recently the hardest of all my 23 yr old daughter. She was the most beautiful happy go lucky sweetheart ever. Everyone called her "giggles" from middle school on because she was always laughing. One of her friends said it best "she was the biggest ray of sunshine I ever met". You're probably wondering what happened to her, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma (an aggressive form of brain cancer) just a year ago 1 month after her father passed away. She fought hard and was brave through it all never giving up, she always thought she would beat it. Well God had other plans for her and even though my heart bleeds I know she is pain free and happy. You see all she ever wanted was to have children of her own and I know in my heart God has her taking care of all his little ones up there.

Well through the year of her illness I took her to her many treatments, appointments, stood by her through 3 surgeries and never left her side the last 6 weeks. Unfortunately my employer voiced their understanding but when I ran out of Family Medical Leave I lost my job. Due to lack of income during my healing process I decided that maybe now was the time to do the one thing I've always dreamed of. What you ask, well designing and selling my own fashions of course. So here I am on Ebay trying my luck hoping for the best. I'm really excited because I get to do what I love all day long and also it has been wonderful therapy for me!
