Who is Blue-Busa??
|
Alot of times I look at the screen names of people I trade with and wonder "what in the world does that name mean"? Well, some of you out there have asked and some of you who are into sport-bikes have probably figured it out. I own a 2001 Suzuki Hayabusa in the blue and silver color scheme. Since every other Hayabusa style name was taken, I had to get "original". I have owned motorcycles and atvs for 21 years and would like to thank my parents for letting me get my 1st bike, an 1981 Kawasaki 750 LTD when I was 17. I have since owned a few other bikes that were always "the fastest of their era"....a Honda V-65 Sabre, Honda CBX 6-cylinder, Yamaha V-Max and others. But my current bike is the best so far! Cycle World magazine claims a 0-100 mph time of 4.6 seconds! My unrestricted/ slightly modified bike should top out around 200 mph they say....I regret to say I haven't seen those numbers myself! I have seen 185 mph, though, and that was plenty for the time being. |

If you have looked at a feedback score and checked some of the items a person has bought and sold recently, you tell alot about them. With mine you will find radio controlled items, alot of diecast motorcycles and other collectibles, and of course a few assorted goodies. Those things pretty much sum up my interests. I am married and have a beautiful 18 year old daughter that keeps us very busy. She played club volleyball at the University of Louisville with Louisville Thunder and of course, at her school. Once school volleyball is over, it's off to club ball right up until the school season starts again. She has started Varsity in the eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and Senior year, made the Varsity District All-Tournament team all five years, All Region her Senior year and awarded MVP her sophomore, junior and senior years. She is currently enrolled at Spalding University and will be playing volleyball there starting August 2009. Thank goodness for scholarships. Hopefully I can put all my Ebay dollars toward a new motorcycle in a few years! |
