The Making Of Blue Dachshund



It all started around the year 1988 in Atlanta collecting antiques and architectural as a favorite pastime. I bought from shoppes, festivals and friends. Then in 1999, I sold my Atlanta business and personal circumstances brought me back to my New York hometown. In 2000 I decided to sell antiques and architectural full time. I opened Urban Cottage in Corning with it's Victorian buildings and architecture lining the tourist hub of Market Street. In 2001 I started buying on eBay as Bluedachsund1. By 2005 and a fairly successful run in retail (my first time) I decided to go solely into internet sales under my Blue Dachshund name (or Bluedachsund1 as it is on eBay).


Welcome to my eBay store. Inside you will find a variety of antiques, gifts, collectibles and of course bell jars. Bell jars have been my biggest seller for over 5 years now and my inventory grows and changes quite often. I have logged over 2500 sales worldwide of bell jars alone. I am a long time "Square Trade" dealer and believe in honest business practice. I hope you will enjoy browsing through my store as much as I have enjoyed developing it.
