I love giraffes! I have been collecting giraffes since I was about six years old. It started with my first giraffe - a handmade one from a church bazaar. I still have the giraffe!
How eBay has added to my collection.
I discovered eBay after watching a show on collecting in 1999. I had been collecting giraffes for about 30 years by then. I have acquired over two-thirds of my collection from eBay! I was surprised to see all the giraffes I had never even heard of! And met new friends out of fellow-giraffe lovers and bidding partners. Of course, I am always interested in corresponding with additional giraffe lovers or folks who want to share their collection!
May 2005 - I went on safari in Africa and got to see many giraffes in their native habitat. I also went to the Giraffe Center in Nairobi and hand-fed 3 giraffes. What an experience!
