Welcome! ~
The buyer and I agreed on reversing the feedback. I would like to thank everyone for the support, understanding and close interest in my items.
I will try to keep it up-to-date all the time and very simple. I am a student
at a four-year-college in MA and my current dream is to start my Master's degree
soon. I have an Associate degree in Web Design of Computer Science, and I am
almost done with my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. I am expecting to
graduate at the end of January-2010. I am just trying to save some money for the
next step of my education.
When I first started this page in early 2005, this is also the time when I
first became a seller at eBay, the paragraph above was talking about me being a
student at a two-year-college, having a dream to go to a four-year one after the
graduation, and once again, saving money for my education. It really WAS a dream
by then. A dream that seemed too far away. I cannot believe I did it.... :)
(Do you think two-three years from now I will be editing
those lines above again and change them with another graduation and getting a
Master's degree in CS?)
Here is my eBay policy in general:
Like everyone else, I, too, like to deal with honest people. The satisfaction
of my customers is my principle. I guarantee that everything written to describe
the items I am selling is 100% the truth. Take advantage of my promotions and
enjoy every single thing you purchase from me. I try to do my best to keep
everything affordable. Please do not hesitate to contact me about any questions
or suggestions. I will be glad to help out or share your opinions. I hope you
will be happy with the business you have with me.
The paragraph below is all the updates about me that I put down over
the years since I have started this page here. I didn't change anything. :)
UPDATED INFORMATION (NOV.18-2005): I GRADUATED IN MAY, 2005. I am now a CUM
LAUDE graduate with a GPA over 3.25. Guess what??? Still looking for a job!
These people don't like new grads! :) UPDATE (AUG.25-2006): Oh well, no job for
a new grad with associate degree, but hey, my dream is coming true!!! Now I am
registered to a State College in MA, and one and a half years later I am a
student again starting from September. There is more: Now I am working for IT on
campus. UPDATED INFO (May 25, 2007): I made the Dean's list in Fall'06 and
Spring'07 with the GPA of over 3.30!!! (Who says that higher education will be
more difficult?) :)) It feels good to get the result of the trouble and effort
that I went through during the whole year! Now, I can enjoy this great summer
vacation 'cause I deserved it, right?!? :)) UPDATED INFO (June, 2008):
Hopefully, in a year, I will get my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. I am
planning to go for my Master's after that. :)
This paragraph below that tells you the story about the neutral feedback, and
it will stay there until the feedback disappears from my record. I stand behind
my item description and policies. I was really so upset when I wrote it down,
especially because the buyer had the nerve to go ahead and write those things
for the transaction without talking to me first. What happened to good, old
communication? Anyway, this explanation is also a great example of how some
people have poor communication skills and its results.

*****(11/21/2008) Before reading about me, there is
something that I have to add here so that people cannot miss to read it. A
buyer left me a neutral feedback unfairly for item number 350118072099 (I have
nothing to hide): "Item was packaged a little tight and the strings have kinks
in them." That was a set of necklace and a pair of matching earrings First of
all, I am here, and not going anywhere. I had no idea that the buyer was not
happy with the item because buyer never contacted me. I would respond on the
same day to work it out. I was never given a chance to solve the problem.
Second, I accept returns. Not only I accept returns, unlike many sellers, I also
make the refund in full amount. How hard is it to drop a couple of lines to me,
and see how it will be fine after I make it okay?? Third, the strings are
naturally the way they are!!! The strings ARE SUPPOSED TO BE that way, there are
no kinks or something. I use the same style set for myself, only
black&white-colored. And, finally fourth, I USE EXTRA PACKING and bubble-wrap
the items when necessary so that they would not get damaged during delivery. If
you got your item safe and sound, you are welcome! I carefully tape the
bubble-wrap around and make sure that the item has been secured. What was it;
the buyer had a hard time to open the tapes?? I am writing all these here, since
I was given a very limited space to respond to the neutral feedback. Thank
you.****
Here is a story for everyone. It tells you something about
real life. It tells you what one second may change in your life.... It tells you
what one second may take away from you... It tells you what one second may cause
you...
Traffic Accident
(Updated: January 10, 2009): I had a traffic accident on December
11, 2008, Thursday at 4pm. It was right before my final exams. I wasn't supposed
to go to school, but there was a final project to submit, and somehow, the prof.
set the date on such a day when there was no school. We get one day of break,
which is called as "reading day," to study before the final exams. And again,
somehow, the prof. wanted the hard copy of the project rather than an e-mail
attachment. So these two reasons made me get up, get dressed, get in the car and
go to school. Guess, we should believe in fate... I was on my way back to the
house, and my mind was full of making plans to study. I am in my second senior
year of Computer Science major. You can have no idea what it is like. I was
waiting over the traffic lights of a very busy intersection, and I was the first
car waiting on the lane. The light became green, and I started to move.
Meanwhile, there were three cars in a row coming towards me by taking a left
turn from the opposite side of the road. I was driving a small Toyota Corolla,
was going straight and heading the North. These three cars were supposed to go
first because they were already in my way. So, I let them go, and I was moving
really slow, not more than 20 m.p.h. Well, I was waiting at the lights, totally
stopped. How fast could I be going when the light became green, it was raining
and almost dark? All of a sudden, a pick-up truck showed up when I was already
in the middle of the intersection. The pick-up truck was taking a left from the
opposite side of the road, and speeding! I had no place to escape, nothing to
do, except, looking at the truck speeding and hitting me... It tossed me to the
right side. I hit my knees to the dash right that moment. And at the same time,
the car caught on fire on the front side. I could feel spinning around, but how
and which direction, I couldn't tell because of having no vision in front of me.
It stopped. My hands were shaking. I was wearing two-way seat belts; lap and
shoulder, and it took me some time to unlock myself. The car was still on fire,
and people around were screaming at me to get out. I was trying! I could finally
do it. See, wearing seat belts protected me from "kissing" the windshield when
the truck hit my car, but then, I was really stuck because of them. Seat belt
safety is not always 100% accurate. I personally experienced it. Anyway, I got
out, people from the gas station came and take the fire under control. And they
told me that I was supposed to get out immediately. Did they think that I was
having a picnic in there?? The police came. I saw the other driver's truck
towed. I don't know why. My knees hurt, but I was too upset and confused to
think about it. Some guy towed my car also. I took my purse and looked behind my
car getting towed. The rest is a headache. I got four final exams scheduled in
one week, but I could take only two. The other two have been postponed, and I
got "incomplete" grade for now. I am getting ready for one of them right now. I
got all my rights from the other person's insurance company, including the tow
fee, rental car, and a check for the loss of my car. I bought a Nissan Sentra,
but it took too much time and energy from me to find and buy another car. I
couldn't enjoy the Holidays or my Winter Break, and I am about to enter the
Spring semester without having a proper rest. One person's bad driving caused me
all of these; but you know what, if he had hit me on the driver's door, where I
was right behind, what would have happened? A lot worse probably! He even could
have killed me. And of course, I put myself in his shoes, and I probably would
be scared to death because of causing all these.
So, the important part of this story is:
1. I am alive, although my left knee still hurts sometimes.
2. Anyone out there who is driving, don't chase the lights because you are
only increasing the chance of running into an accident.
3. Remember, when going straight and there are cars taking turns, be extra
cautious because cars taking turns tend to speed too much, since they chase
lights, and chances are because they speed, they hit you too hard, even tough
you are not speeding.
4. When it is raining, no matter what, DRIVE extra careful and slower.
5. NEVER trust other drivers. They can be upset, careless, talking on the
phone, drunken, on drugs, or driving a bad vehicle that is not safe to drive.
6. I see a lot of drivers with poor driving. Some of them think that signals
are just decorations of their cars, and stop signs are just decorations of
streets, and nothing else!! (I would like to meet the people who gave them a
license in the first place because I have a couple things to tell them!)
7. Running late is not the end of the world, but speeding and poor driving
can be easily the end of your life.
I wish 2009 to be accident-free, happy and healthy for all of us!
And now... (September 2009):
I am sometimes scared when I drive, and I consider myself as a very good
driver. I am used to drive standard cars in the big city traffic. Unfortunately,
I see people who actually CAN'T drive. They eat, they drink, they have a picnic
as they drive. Almost everyone is on the phone. Get a hands-free set for God's
sake! It is five to ten bucks.
Well, I think I will remember this accident for a long time. I am feeling a
lot better now (knees still hurt sometimes, although the doctor said I was
fine). I had a final at the end of January and passed, and I had to take the
other postponed final along with my regular final schedule at the end of this
Spring semester. It means, I had to take five final exams in less than two
weeks, and four of them were all Computer Science courses, plus Biochemistry. I
passed all of them. I couldn't make the Dean's List this semester, but my GPA
average is around 3.0. I am not complaining.
This semester... It is like a dream! :-) Because I am graduating I ended up
with only two classes. The very last two classes, and both of them are fun. 2-D
Game Design and Literary Themes: Fathers and Fatherhood in Literature. I think I
deserved this break and having a light schedule with the semester. I want to do
things that I never had a chance because of my school. Like, going to Salem this
year for Halloween. Having a walk in October's mild weather under the red
leaves. Enjoying Boston's student-friendly cafes, reading my book with a warm
coffee or tea... I am not asking for much. :)
Thanks for being here. :-) |
