Hi! I'm Kathy, also known as the Doll Girl. I have loved and collected dolls all of my life. I didn't have as many as I would have liked as a child in the late 50's and 60's, but I used to cut out pictures from ads to put in my "Wish Book". Well, before I knew it, I grew up and was taking care of real live babies, my seven children for many of my adult years. From time to time, I would find time to dabble in my favorite hobby, and I also enjoyed buying my kids every new doll that came along and tickled mine or their fancy.

Well, time flies when you're having fun and before I knew it, my little doll babies were all grown up. My little girl, the youngest, is now a U S Marine serving in Iraq. So I suddenly realized that this grandmother of 7 had become an "empty nester". Well that just wasn't fun for me. So I decided to revisit my childhood and my passion for my dolls. In pulling them out from everywhere, it occured to me that my collection was too BIG and much too varied and that I needed to focus on what pleases me the most. The conclusion I came to is that the Playpals and Tiny Tears and Molded Hair Babies, vintage and from my era is what I will continue to collect. However, that leaves me with a lot of dolls to sell and I continue to buy as well.  Some will stay with me and some will be resold. I also steadily buy from my fellow ebayers.
