Mich's chosen artistic medium is sandblasted and carved stone. We sandblast two-dimensional reliefs on marble, feldspar, and granite as well as hand carve Lapis Lazuli. Custom work includes portraits, memorials, pet urns, incense, tarot, and wand boxes. We do not use lasers. We specialize in religious and metaphysical symbols associated with both Eastern and Western mystery traditions including Celtic, Wiccan, Pagan, Kabbalistic, Islamic, and Christian. Additionally, Mich studies oriental dance or Raqs Sharqi with ZeeZia of Hartford, CT. Mich performs regularly on the East Coast at dance venues and theatres in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey. Mich has southern roots and has danced the Gulf Coast on stages from Lido Beach to New Orleans. Mich learned to play violin with her first teacher Maija Henderson Richardson of Manchester, CT. Now Maija is teaching in Washington state and Mich studies violin with Carin Weisner McClure of Glastonbury, CT. Mich has recently begun playing second violin in the strings section of the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
