As a kid growing up in Sunnyside Gardens, Queens, I was always interested in New York City history. I explored the locale by bicycle and traced the old diagonal streets, curb stones, and the vestiges of times gone by such as houses behind newer houses. Since 1981, I have collected postcards of every community in each of the five boroughs of New York City. I am a collector who has traveled to many states, as well as England and France in search of elusive NYC images.
