BOB TOMES FORD TOP 100 FORD DEALERS IN THE NATION ACCOMPLISHMENTS 60TH ANNIVERSARY F SERIES Bob and Barbara Tomes began selling Ford vehicles in McKinney on January 17, 1983. Their doors opened on a 3.8 acre lot with only 16 employees and about two dozen vehicles. As McKinney grew, so did the demand for Ford cars and trucks. In 1988 Bob and Barbara moved their dealership to the 6 acre site where it currently resides. Bob Tomes Ford now spans 16 acres and features a New-Vehicle and Pre-Owned Vehicle Department, Service and Parts Departments, Quick Car Vehicle Center, an expanded Rental Center and Collision Repair Center. Due to the talent and commitment of the 100 plus person staff, Bob Tomes Ford is Blue Oval Certified and winners of the 1998 Presidents Award for Customer Service.
