The gorgeous woman whose photos are featured on my site is Lily Elsie.

Lily was an actress from the early 1900's. Having been a part of Musical Comedy Theater for many years, she had her big break in the 1908 debut in London of The Merry Widow.

The very shy and demure Lily was tall and graceful with piercing blue eyes. The photo on the Bodhi's Junque Homepage ( http://stores.ebay.com/Bodhis-Junque_W0QQsspagenameZMEQ3aFQ3aSTQQtZkm) was the inspiration for this website. It is a 1908 image of her in The Merry Widow.

Personally, I find her to be a very intriguing persona with a look and a style that can transport you back to an Era in time filled with pure galmour.

The second most frequently asked question has to do with our name ..

Bodhi's Junque (pronounced Bo-dee's Junk)

Bodhi is actually the name of the tree that Buddha was sitting under when he was enlightened. To me, the name reflcts images of peace, harmony and unity. Something the world can use a whole lot more of!

Remember,  there is a big difference between "Junk" and "Junque"!
